HP Market Fall 2011: Blues, Greens, & In Betweens
The trend spotting from High Point Fall 2010 continues! For earlier topics, go HERE (Modern Menagerie), HERE (Wing Chairs, Menswear, & Pagodas), HERE (Customized Brights), HERE (Red and a Touch of Dread), or HERE (Squares, Loops & Cathedral Windows).
Today, I’m looking at a fresh and fun color palette of navy, royal blue, leaf green, and turquoise. It’s one that reminds me of the ocean and a resort locale,….but the refined navy gives it a nostalgic feel. These pieces are evidence of that:
I love all the blues together in different intensities, but a pop of leaf green makes it feel modern and fresh. Thanks to Mr. Brown, Selamat, Norwalk, Creative Touch Design Studio, Dransfield & Ross, Bungalow 5, and Oomph for creating beautiful pieces.
In a similar vein, our backsplashes have been ahead of this curve: Note our Dreamwalls Color Glass in Bright Blue, Ocean, and Lime Green. Now if I can just get someone to use them all together…..any takers?
